Hey everybody, and welcome back to our video blog. This week, we'll be looking at a couple of different ways you can stop your home's pipes from making noise.
The first thing you will need to do is identify why your pipe is making noise. There can be several different reasons this happens - an anchor has come loose or the pipe doesn't have enough cushioning and is banging against the wall.
Once you have figured out the problem, you can go about fixing it. For a loose anchor, all you need to do is buy a new one and replace it. Tighten the screws to make sure it is firmly in place. Likewise, with a lack of cushion, simply buy some soft material from your local hardware store and wrap the pipes up.
If there is an issue you can't deal with on your own, be sure to contact John C. Flood today. Thanks for watching!
