WATER HEATER FLUSH/INSPECTION
We power off the water heater and then attach a hose to the water heater’s drain spigot. The hose is then routed outside so as to prevent any water spilling onto the floors around your water heater and we drain the water.
Once the water heater is empty, it is filled again and drained again. The process is repeated until no sediment can be seen exiting the drain hose. At that point, the drain hose is disconnected. The valve is closed, and the water supply is restored. Once the tank is full of water, the power is turned back on, and the water heater is left to reheat the fresh water.
